Os Oleiros Museum

Os Oleiros - José María Kaydeda Museum is a traditional pottery museum. It offers an extensive and valuable collection from over 150 different pottery workshops, many of which no longer exist.

The museum is located in As Torres de Santa Cruz, also known as Pazo do Coruxo manor house, an iconic building declared a Site of Cultural Interest, whose origin dates back to the 17th century.

There is an impressive example of a centenarian ombu tree in the house gardens.

 

Guided tours:

Group visits must be booked in advance.
The duration of the visit is approximately 50 minutes.

Opening times

Winter Schedule (October to March)

Tuesday to Saturday: 10:00 - 14:00h / 16:00 - 18:00h

Summer Schedule (April to Septembr)

Tuesday to Saturday: 11:00 - 14:00h / 17:00 - 20:00h

*Closed on the following public holidays: 1 and 6 January, 1 May, 24 June, 1 November, 24, 25 and 31 December.
